Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. Her mother was at home as a mother. Her older brothers are: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick began dancing and singing from a young age, and frequently performed show-like puppets in front of the children from her neighborhood. When McCormick was six years old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned to ask her if she would like to enter show business. McCormick found her first role as an actress major in 1964. She was featured in an ad campaign for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical Wind It up until It Breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was one of 1200 children for the part of the eldest daughter to be a part of The Brady Bunch. The sitcom featured Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared the same family as a blended one. The show ran for five years. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in the year 2008. She revealed in it the fact that McCormick nearly lost her virginity while on stage of the show during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16 and he was 19. The woman said it might be possible, however we didn't have the proper moment to make the decision.
